Terms of Service

1. Who we are
STALK YOURSELF (the "Service") is operated by Stalk Yourself LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Authority and eligibility
You confirm you are at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction, and have authority to enter into this agreement. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you can bind that organization.
3. The Service
STALK YOURSELF is a self-audit tool that scans publicly available sources for information about your own identity (data-broker listings, breach databases, public social profiles, indexed search results, web archives). The Service is provided strictly for personal self-audit. You agree NOT to use the Service to research, surveil, harass, or compile information about any other person.
4. Acceptable use
You must not: (a) use the Service unlawfully or fraudulently; (b) submit information about a third party without their consent; (c) infringe intellectual property rights; (d) attempt to interfere with the security or integrity of the Service (malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering); (e) resell or redistribute the Service or its outputs; (f) circumvent technical limits, rate limits, or paywalls. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations.
5. Your account
You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including its software, documentation, branding, and underlying models. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal self-audit within the plan you have purchased. You retain ownership of content you submit; you grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide the Service.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Payments are processed by Stripe. Payment, billing, and tax mechanics are governed by Stripe's Services Agreement, in addition to our Refund Policy. Subscriptions renew automatically at the cadence selected at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from the billing portal accessible from your account Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless otherwise stated.
8. Service level and warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Findings are generated automatically from third-party sources and may be incomplete or inaccurate; you are responsible for verifying anything you act on.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Service is capped at the fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Indemnity
You will indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising from your content, your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated policy violations. You may terminate at any time by deleting your account in Settings. On termination, your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Notice.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in-app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction of residence. Disputes will be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections available to you locally.
